History
This organization was established on May 22, 1993, as the Prince William Chorale, a reorganization of the group previously known as the Manassas Choral Society which was established in 1967 by members of several area church choirs who were interested in singing a broader range of music.
Our Mission
Posted by pwchorale in Uncategorized
Our goal is to create an audition-only Soprano/Alto/Tenor/Bass (SATB) Chorale (32-member target maximum; 8 capable and enthusiastic quality singers per part) organization which will provide highest-quality vocal performances of music of all types (Classical, Broadway, Traditional, Popular, Big Band, Folk, Jazz, etc,) for our neighbors in the Northern Virginia area.
We are seeking talented members from all segments of our community, including our area high schools, to perform interesting and musically-challenging selections for the pleasure of our members and to both entertain and delight our audiences.
